Yves Rannou has been a member of the Acea Board of Directors since April 12, 2024.
As an experienced business manager, he has extensive experience in managing global businesses with revenues ranging from 800 million to 2 billion, leading growth, turnaround, and restructuring of publicly listed international companies in the renewable energy sector. He is an expert in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and infrastructure projects and has expertise in refinancing and mergers & acquisitions (M&A).
Since 2023, he has served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Suez Group and is a member of the Group Executive Committee.
From 2020 to 2023, he was a Senior Advisor and board member at Kentel Associates, a consulting firm based in Paris.
In 2019-2020, he was the CEO and a member of the Board of Directors at Senvion, a German company specializing in the wind energy sector, focusing on operations and maintenance (O&M).
He also served on the Board of Directors of the International Hydropower Association (IHA) from 2017 to 2019.
He spent the earlier part of his career (1997-2018) with the Alstom Group, where he held the position of CEO of Global Business in Renewable Energies, with activities in Europe and China.
He is a board member of various companies, a Senior Advisor, and an investor in the Green Economy.
He graduated in Electromechanical Engineering from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris before obtaining an Engineer’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the École Supérieure des Travaux Publics (ESTP). He also completed an Executive Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau.
