Acea at WEF 2025

Our CEO, Fabrizio Palermo, participated in the World Economic Forum in Davos, the annual meeting that gathers global leaders to discuss major global challenges, ranging from geopolitics to improving quality of life and managing the energy transition.
He spoke during the panel discussion titled “Water at a Tipping Point” alongside Jessika Roswall, the European Commissioner for the Environment and Water. He emphasized the importance of coordinated management of water resources at both national and European levels, while also stressing the relevance of the concept of resilience in this sector. Furthermore, he identified water reuse as a key strategic lever to optimize its usage and minimize waste, aligning with the principles of Net Zero Water.
