For example, the project Passaggio in Acea (passage to Acea) was conceived to provide a more in-depth knowledge of the professional skills that inspire our Group, via short interviews carried out while driving hybrid and/or electric cars.

The colleagues involved in this area ensure the design, study activities, permits and investigations, works management and safety, construction, testing and commissioning of the systems.
They are also in charge of laboratory activities, testing, research and development, implementing and managing GIS systems and traditional and non-traditional engineering services in support of the operation, quality and continuity of the services offered.

The professionals who work in this area are tasked with guaranteeing the continuity of the services offered to customers, monitoring infrastructure and plant efficiency in connection with the different business areas of the group, implementing intelligent and predictive maintenance strategies and tools.
In particular, they are responsible for managing, maintaining and modernising the infrastructures for the management of the integrated water service, the distribution and production of electricity, public and artistic lighting, the treatment and valorisation of waste.
On the water side, energy efficiency activities may involve the installation of smart water meters, the reduction of network losses, the rationalisation and automation of purification plants, the district division of the network, the improvement of technical quality and the securing of the water supply.
In the context of energy infrastructure, this consists of designing and carrying out interventions to modernise and develop electrical infrastructure to make energy and heat generation more efficient and improve the resilience of the grid.

Working in this area is about managing business development activities, innovative projects, process digitalization, and new services that provide added value for our customers.
Colleagues involved in these areas work to constantly improve the quality of the services we offer and create sustainable innovation, using new technologies such as IOT, robotics and AI.

The professionals involved in this area work in the energy and waste management chain, with the aim of promoting the continuity of services and energy efficiency.
On the water side, as the first operator at a national level, we guarantee the availability of the resource by managing and increasing its quality through projects and interventions that increase the resilience of water systems. We aim at protecting water through actions to contain leaks (we locate them with electroacoustic instruments, thus reducing the environmental impact), safeguard the most complex sources (we create predictive models of water availability to plan its sustainable use) and optimise readings (we use a centralised management system and meters connected via remote control, to study the most effective actions to take to protect our most precious resource).
In the area of energy infrastructures, the professionals involved in these processes deal with managing, distributing and producing electricity, with an ever-increasing focus on renewable sources and a strong attention to the development of "smart" public lighting projects at the service of our cities.
In the environment area, we are among the major Italian players in the Waste Management business, operating in the sector of recovery, processing, conversion, disposal and energy valorisation of waste (waste to energy), in a context of continuous promotion of the circular economy.
On the commercial side, we are among the major players at a national level, working to improve our performance in the sale of energy and gas, aiming at the development of e-mobility through the installation of electric charging stations and energy efficiency, managing hundreds of projectsIn this area, the main figures are:
The people in the customer services area take care of customers putting them at the center of each process. The activities that are carried out follow the entire journey of a contract: from the engagement of the new customer up to the activation of the service, overseeing all the processes that lead to an optimisation of the customer management model, guaranteeing a growth in the level of service offered.
