Acea for World Energy Saving Day
The idea of the Rimini Meeting was born at the end of the 1970s thanks to a group of friends from the city of Romagna who, animated by the desire to meet, learn and experiment, worked to bring to light everything that was stimulating and interesting in the culture of the time. After the first edition in 1980, the event, which also took the name of Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples, has become a global reference point, a crossroads of different people and cultures, where dialogue is the main vehicle to ensure a coexistence between peoples that is not only peaceful, but also fruitful.
For over forty years, the Rimini Meeting has welcomed figures of international importance, including politicians, managers, artists, intellectuals and sportsmen, who meet in the Romagna city to share experiences and world views.
Each year, the event deals with a theme that will be the focus of the meetings and reflections of the participants. For the 2024 Rimini Meeting, the theme identified is "If we are not after the essence then what are we after?".
Acea participates in the Rimini Meeting with some of the Group's companies.
In the exhibition space of the Rimini Expo Centre, Acea is present in Hall A3, with workshops, laboratories, experiences, conferences, panels on some of the central themes for the Group such as waste and water resource management, Acea Infrastructure’s projects and major works, Artificial Intelligence and predictive maintenance. Activities dedicated to the search for new talent will also be carried out through talks and one-to-one meetings.
We look forward to seeing you in Hall A3 of the Rimini Expo Centre.
