Valeria Santarossa was appointed Head of Sponsorship & Value Liberality at Acea in June 2020.
She is responsible for defining and managing institutional and commercial sponsorships to enhance the company’s brand equity, maximize investments and reduce the budgetary impact, in compliance with the guidelines of the Group Communication Plan. From October 2017 to June 2020, she was Head of Sponsorship and Value Liberality and Special Caring.
Before joining Acea, Valeria Santarossa worked for Alitalia form December 2009 to September 2017. Between October 2015 and September 2017, she held the position of Head of Corporate Event, in charge of organizing and supervising institutional events and initiatives presided over by the Chairperson, the CEO and the stakeholders. She was also responsible for liaising with the Marketing department to identify and manage corporate and commercial sponsorships, along with potential co-marketing initiatives. She also held the position of Head of Special Caring, maintaining the image and reputation of the company through the management of relationships with high-value clients.
From December 2009 until October 2015, she was Executive Assistant and CEO of Alitalia. She was authorized to manage and approve the issue of the “Frecce Alate Onorarie” cards, in collaboration with the Presidency.
She was head of the Top Management General Secretariat at Piaggio and Personal Assistant to the CEO from November 2003 to June 2007. In her role, she managed territorial marketing activities in the Lazio region, as well as the definition and management of commercial sponsorships.
From September 2001 to November 2003, she worked at Telecom Italia as coordinator for the organization of corporate events for the Top Client sector, with the aim of defining to define co-marketing agreements.
Between January 1998 and September 2001, she was General Assistant of TIM – Telecom Italia Mobile.
