Giovanni Papaleo

Giovanni Papaleo is the Deputy General Manager Operations of the Acea Group where he had already held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Director of the Water Segment. He is also Chairman of Acea Ambiente. 

He has worked in the Group since 2003, covering various roles: Director of the Energy Infrastructures Area and Chief Executive Officer of Areti (June 2017 - June 2018), Sales Area Director and Acea Energia CEO (September 2015 - May 2017), Strategic Planning and Control Director (April 2012 - September 2015), Networks and Renewable Energy Planning and Control Manager (May 2003 - June 2011).

Between 2001 and 2003, Papaleo worked at Sielte as Head of Internal Audit.

From October 2000 to June 2001 he was Program Control Manager for the Italian Space Agency (ASI).

From May 1999 to July 2000 he served as Coordinator of Central Italy Plant Controllers in Cartiere Burgo.

Between 1997 and 1999 he was Head of Accounting and Control of the Pasquale Pettinicchio Dairy (Latina Yomo Group).

Between 1993 and 1997, Papaleo worked for Digross as Head of Internal Audit.

Giovanni Papaleo graduated in 1992 in economics at the Federico II University of Naples.
