Acea's support for the Half Marathon is renewed every year, a sign of the link with the territory in which the Group operates also by supporting sports initiatives.
The RomaOstia Half Marathon was born in 1974 from an idea of Luciano Duchi. Then, the distance to cover was 28 km, always from the city to the sea, and in that year the athletes classified were 313. Over time the event has acquired international prestige and today it is one of the most popular, as well as the only one to have received, in 2017, the "Gold Label" of the World Athletics.
