Domenico Vozza

Since September 2023 Domenico Vozza has been Head of Acea’s Security & Cyber Defense Function.

Domenico Vozza, already registered with the Ordine degli Avvocati di Roma (Rome Law Society) until 17 December 2021 and former officer of the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Finance Police), is an expert in security and legality. From January 2022 until his appointment at Acea, he held the position of Anti-Fraud & Cyber Security Manager for the Igea Banca Banking Group.

From November 2015 to December 2021, he worked as a freelance lawyer in his own firm. In particular, he carried out legal, judicial/extrajudicial consultancy and assistance activities and held the position of Data Protection Officer within a publicly held corporate group.

From December 2014 to November 2015, he was the owner of a consultancy and investigations agency, specifically carrying out implementation activities of regulatory compliance models (Legislative Decree 231/01, privacy, anti-mafia code, anti-money laundering and anti-corruption legislation).

From October 2010 to November 2014, Domenico Vozza was in the Enel group, in the national and international Security Directorate and in the Legal Directorate. In addition, from 1990 to 2010 he was in the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Finance Police), most recently as Liaison Officer of the GdF at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Section Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the International Relations Office - General Command of the Guardia di Finanza (June 2007 - October 2010).

During his career, Vozza has been a member of numerous working groups and institutional committees on issues related to security and legality. In particular, he was a contact person/member of the technical and coordination task force set up at the Cabinet of the Ministry of the Interior (Control Room) for the stipulation of the Public-Private Partnership Protocols for Legality.

He was a contracted lecturer at the II Level University Master in Intelligence and Security at Link University Rome for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 academic years, and Director and contracted lecturer at the II Level University Master in Intelligence and Security, also at Link University, in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Vozza was awarded the Honor of Knight of the Republic.

He graduated in Law (under the former system) from the State University of Milan with 110/110. He also graduated in Political Sciences (under the former system) from the University of Trieste, and obtained a specialist degree in Economic and Financial Security Sciences from the “Tor Vergata” University of Rome.
