Massimo Bilotta has been Head of Real Estate, Energy Efficiency & Solutions of Acea since April 2024.
Engineer, Massimo Bilotta has over 20 years of experience in the Supply Chain, Real Estate and Facility Management sector, working with leading manufacturing companies and tertiary sector entities.
From 2022 to 2024, he was Head of Real Estate and Facility at Pirelli in Milan. In this role, he coordinated a team of about 40 individuals, ensuring the technical and economic management of the group’s portfolio, for a total number of about 500 assets spread among the reference “Regions”. He was also responsible for the supervision and coordination of global rationalization and real estate development projects. His activities included the design and monitoring of services provided to employees and workstations.
From 2016 to 2022, he was Head of Property and Facility at Alitalia in Rome, responsible for the technical and economic management of Alitalia’s real estate portfolio, as well as the design and monitoring of basic services provided to 12,000 employees.
In 2015-2016, he was in Invimit SGR, a Ministry of Economy and Finance Company with the purpose to develop and appreciate public real estate portfolio, as Head of Real Estate & Technical Services.
From 2006 to 2014, he worked in the Generali Group. From 2012 to 2014, he was Head of Facility & General Services (Italy) in Assicurazioni Generali, in charge of the technical and economic management - as well as enhancement - of the real estate used by companies within the Group. He also ensured the monitoring of basic services provided to workstations and support activities for Generali Group employees in Italy. Previously, he was Head of Procurement in Generali Real Estate Italia, organizing the purchasing function and handling the purchasing processes.
At the beginning of his career, he worked as a buyer in Fiat and as a senior buyer in Indesit Company.
He has been a University Lecturer at the LUISS Business School in Rome and at the Milan Polytechnic.
He graduated in Environmental and Territorial Engineering from the University “La Sapienza” in Rome, plus enrolment via the public exam. He also obtained an Executive MBA from the LUISS Business School.
