- The Arch of Constantine
Acea has delivered the new lighting system of the Arch of Constantine replacing the old lighting equipment with 30 next generation LED lights, thus minimizing the visual impact of the projectors, improving the color effect of the lights, and reducing energy consumption.
The project is the result of the collaboration with the City of Rome - Simu Department and the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum.
The Arch of Constantine
A triumphal arch dedicated by the Roman Senate to the emperor Constantine to commemorate his victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge in AD 312.
It was inaugurated in AD 315, to mark the 10th anniversary of Constantine’s reign and is located on the route taken by victorious military leaders in triumphal processions.
It is one of Rome’s three triumphal arches: the others are the Arch of Titus and the Arch of Septimius Severus.
