Pier Francesco Ragni

Pier Francesco Ragni joined Acea in June 2023 and currently holds the position of Deputy General Manager Corporate and Chief Financial Officer of Acea SpA.

From September 2022 to May 2023 he was Corporate Strategy Director with the Autostrade per l’Italia Group and Chief Executive Officer of Elgea.

From July 2020 to August 2022 he was employed by CDP (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti) in the role of Chief Financial Officer and Manager Responsible for preparing the company’s financial reports.

In 2005 he entered the Fincantieri Group where, over a period of fifteen years he held various positions as Deputy CFO, Business Development Manager, Offshore and Specialised Vessels Division, General Manager and Chairman of the Norwegian company Vard Group and Fincantieri Oil & Gas.

He began working in 1997 as a business analyst at Value Partners Management Consulting. In 1998 he continued his career path at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he dealt with company valuations, and in 2000 was employed by Banca IMI as an investment banker. In 2001 he worked at Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, where he was responsible for M&A operations.

During his career he has served on the board of directors of listed companies Saipem and Vard Holdings (listed on the Singapore stock exchange) and in numerous foreign and Italian companies, including Vard Group, Island Offshore XII Ship, Island Defender (Norway), Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven (Germany), Fincantieri USA, Fincantieri Marine Group Holdings, Fincantieri Marine Group, ACE Marine, FMSNA (USA), Orizzonte Sistemi Navali, Isotta Fraschini Motori, Delfi, Valvitalia Finanziaria and Valvitalia (Italy).

Pier Francesco Ragni holds a degree in Business Administration from the “Luigi Bocconi” University in Milan.
