Acea SpA (“ACEA”) announces that, as a result of the new rules and regulations introduced by CONSOB Resolution 19970 of 26 October 2016, the Company intends to voluntarily approve and publish interim financial reports, using the same basis of preparation applied in the interim report for the nine months ended 30 September 2016. This will mean that we continue to be in line with international industry best practices and ensure the maximum transparency of our reporting to the market. These interim financial reports will contain the following information:
 

  • Financial review
  • Segment information
  • Performance of equity markets and ACEA’s share price
  • Material events during the reporting period and after the end of the period
  • Outlook
  • Basis of preparation and presentation
  • Basis and scope of consolidation
  •  The income statement (for the period and the various quarters), the statement of financial position, the statement of cash flows and the statement of changes in equity

Amounts in the income statement will be compared with those for the same period of the previous year, whilst those in the statement of financial position will be compared with amounts at 31 December of the previous year and, where significant, with amounts at the end of the same period of the previous year.

The information will be published on the Company’s website in the form of:

·         a press release

·         an interim financial report

·         a results presentation.

All the documents will be made available in Italian and English by the second working day following their approval.

 

In light of the above, ACEA announces the dates on which the Board of Directors is expected to examine the Company’s financial results during 2017:
 

Monday, 13 March 2017               Consolidated financial statements of the ACEA Group and ACEA’s separate financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2016

 

Wednesday, 26 April 2017            Quarterly report for the three months ended 31 March 2017

 

Friday, 28 July 2017                    Interim report for the six months ended 30 June 2017

 

Friday, 27 October 2017               Quarterly report for the nine months ended 30 September 2017

 

Meetings with the financial community and the media may be organised in order to present the interim financial results and the Company’s strategies.

The Annual General Meeting of the Company’s shareholders, called to approve the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2016, will be held in first call on 27 April 2017 (Thursday) and in second call on 4 May 2017 (Thursday).

The dividend for 2016 is expected to be payable from 21 June 2017, with an ex-dividend date of 19 June 2017 and a record date of 20 June 2017.
