Salvatore Rubbo has been appointed new CEO of Gesesa during today’s Board Meeting. A hydraulics Engineer specialized in health engineering, Rubbo comes from Gori SpA, also part of the Acea Group, which manages the Integrated Water Service of the Sarnese – Vesuviano District.
Having joined Gori in 2003 and been part of its management since 2007, he has held a number of important positions, involving operational management, tenders and acquisitions, and commercial roles, the last of which saw him in charge of the personnel and organization of the second Company of the Water Industrial Area of the Acea Group.
He takes over from Vittorio Cuciniello, who instead has been appointed CEO of Gori SpA, while remaining a member of the Board of Gesesa S.p.A.
Rubbo accepted his new role at Gesesa SpA with great enthusiasm and thanked Acea SpA for nominating him for such an important position in an historic company of the Group, which over the years has undoubtedly played a central role across the territory and in the community of the province of Benevento.
Gesesa’s next challenges are numerous and all important and will be addressed putting the territory and its community at the center of all initiatives; over the next few years, innovation processes, sustainable activities, responsible use of water, and dialog with stakeholders will guide Gesesa’s initiatives, also thanks to the competences and knowledge of its Human Resources.
