The presentation of the manifesto “Insieme per contrastare la Povertà energetica” (Together to tackle energy poverty), launched by Banco dell’energia and signed by companies, organisations, associations, and non-profit organisations, is scheduled on Tuesday 14 December at the Scuderie of Palazzo Altieri in Rome.

Through the creation of a network of stakeholders sharing the mission of the Banco, the objective of the initiative is to raise awareness of the issue among public opinion and institutional referents, in order to put in place real actions to tackle situations of vulnerability.

Banco dell’energia promotes the manifesto, signed by companies and non-profit organisations, which took action to support people in difficulty, raising awareness of the problem and simplifying the access to energy efficiency tools.

The manifesto has already been joined by consumer and environmental associations, third-sector organisations, and by the main Italian multiutilities and companies – as Acea – engaged in the fight against energy poverty.

Michaela Castelli, President of Acea and Utilitalia, and Giuseppe Gola, CEO of Acea, will take part in the event.
