Waste-to-energy plant in Terni: useful information

The plant in Terni processes exclusively paper mill pulper, a type of waste from the paper and cardboard recycling process. The waste-to-energy plant is also equipped with photovoltaic systems, which in 2023 generated approximately 436 MWh of electricity, of which approximately 55% was consumed on the site and the remainder was transferred to the past grid.
