Rome, 9 April 2019 – With reference to Agenda item 5 “Appointment of a Board Director” for the Annual General Meeting convened on 17 April 2019 in first call and, if necessary, on 18 April 2019 in second call, according to the indications given in the Notice of Call dated 8 March last, as supplemented on 28 march last, ACEA SpA informs that it has received, on 1 April 2019, pursuant to Article 15.4 of the Company’s Articles of Association, a declaration confirming the candidacy of Maria Verbena Sterpetti (lawyer), unelected candidate on the list presented by Shareholder Roma Capitale to the Annual General Meeting held on 27 April 2017.

ACEA SpA furthermore points out that no confirmation was received, within the deadline laid down by the Articles of Association, on the part of the other unelected candidates on the aforesaid list.

The declaration by candidate Maria Verbena Sterpetti, together with the documentation required according to the laws in force, is available on the Company’s website www.gruppo.acea.it, in the section “2019 Shareholders’ Meeting”.
