Acea SpA announces that the Mayors’ Conference for the ATO 2 concession area has today approved the tariff determinations for the period 2016-2019.

The determinations were approved by the Mayors’ Conference for the ATO 2 concession area – chaired by the Mayor of the Rome Metropolitan Area, Virginia Raggi – on the basis of the existing regulatory mechanisms applicable to the operator, Acea ATO2 SpA.

The decision assumed by the Conference - in order to meet the need for sustainable tariffs, to safeguard the necessary investment and to remain in line with the operator’s financial plan in the interests of all its shareholders – requires the tariff increases to be applied in 2016 to be spread out over time, in return for recognition of a market financial charge as compensation for the deferral.
