Mauro has been chosen in response to a selection performed by Korn Ferry, primary headhunting International Company.

Roman by birth, graduated with honors in Economics from the University Luiss University, with a Masters Degree from Columbia University in New York, Mauro has held the position of CFO in several listed companies of national and international importance, focusing on implementation of strategies development and digitization processes.

Since 2005 he was CFO of Sorin SpA and in this role, he managed various acquisitions in Europe, the US and Emerging Markets, personally supervising the technological re-engineering of the entire Group.

Previously he served, among others, the role of Managing Director and CFO for Teksid Aluminium and CFO for the De Agostini Group.

Acea SpA, Mauro will report directly to the Managing Director Alberto Irace.
