The second stage of "Acea School. Let's protect the environment" has started: a multimedia journey for students to
promote the culture of sustainability.

The second stage of “Acea Scuola” 2023, the educational project, created to raise awareness among young people and students on environmental sustainability issues, starts on Monday 6th February.
This year the initiative, which is part of a training course conceived more than twenty years ago by the Acea Group, has been included in the "Map of the Educating City 2022/2023" of the Department of Education, Training and Work of Roma Capitale, and is structured around the Acea EcoVillage, an interactive, dynamic and stimulating platform that can be used by students to play, learn and reflect on environmental and ecological issues.
The project - which in 2022 reaped great success with 25,000 connected users - is aimed at students in the second cycle of primary schools as well as in lower secondary schools in Rome and its province. Some schools have organized face-to-face sessions to carry out the educational project, which will then be open on the dedicated digital platform from 20th February to 3rd March 2023.
The edition will be hosted by Biagio Venditti and Francesca La Cava, two of the protagonists of the Netflix series "Di4ri", who will accompany students through videos, quizzes and insights into the environmental issues affecting our planet.
From the digital platform, users can access five macro thematic areas of the Acea EcoVillage: Piazza del Riciclo, Belvedere della Biodiversità, Stazione del Clima, Parco Acquatico and Ponte dell'Energia. Each location includes an interactive video that addresses the most current issues of environmental sustainability: circular economy, biodiversity, climate emergency, water protection and energy transition.
It will also be an opportunity to raise awareness of the best practices, projects and technologies implemented by the Group to help create a greener planet, especially for future generations.
