Further expansion in the waste treatment sector

Acea Ambiente (100% owned by Acea SpA), through its subsidiary Cavallari S.r.l., has today completed the acquisition of 100% equity stake in Italmacero S.r.l., a company operating in the mechanical treatment and recovery of recyclable urban waste (mixed and mono-material packaging) and non-hazardous special waste.

The company owns a facility in the north Ancona area, with an authorised capacity of 13 thousand tonnes. The price paid for the acquisition amounts to 1.2 million Euro. Italmacero will be fully consolidated by Acea.
