Acea Group has achieved the Certificazione Top Employers Italia 2022 (Top Employers Italy 2022 Certification), entering the ranking of the 131 certified Italian companies. The prestigious achievement is awarded on an annual basis by the Top Employers Institute, the certifying body for company excellence, which analyses policies and HR strategies of thousands of companies worldwide. With its indipendent method, the Institute provides studies and assessments to finally certify working models and conditions (benefits, career plans, training, policies of professional growth, well-being of employees) for 1,857 companies in 123 countries.

“Achieving this certification testifies for the commitment of the company, which in the last few years invested specifically in policies for Selection, Training, Professional Development, Welfare, Inclusion and Diversity – says Claudio Mancini, Head of Human Resources at Acea Group. “An approach which allowed to respond to the health emergency and to preserve, among others, the efficacy and efficiency of essential services managed by the Group’s companies. All this ensuring security for our customers and employees. We believe that this certification is not a point of arrival, but a starting point to keep working and improving, especially on issues concerning Human Resources, which certainly represent one of Acea’s most relevant assets.”

In particular, in the 2020-2021 period, against market trends during the pandemic, the group registered a significant increase in human resources, hiring 900 people, who contributed to enhance skills in the different regions where Acea works.
