The Company is actively involved in the Open Day vaccination program reserved to children between 12 and 16 years old, organized by Regione Lazio this weekend and the next.

In the weekend of 12 and 13 June, a total of 1,600 vaccinations were booked at Acea’s hub, and over 400 vaccinations were administered this morning

Since May 15, the date on which the Company made its facilities available, 9,000 vaccines have been administered to the public and Acea employees.

Acea is actively involved in the Junior Open Day vaccination program organized by Regione Lazio. The Company’s hub opens this weekend and the next to offer the Pfizer vaccine to children between 12 and 16 years old.

The positive response from the young generations was obvious from the very start, as 1,600 booked a vaccine at the Acea hub between Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June. Additionally, over 400 vaccinations were administered this morning. Since 15 May, the Company’s vaccination hub has carried out approximately 9,000 vaccinations, to the general public and Acea employees.

Acea was the first multiutility to provide its facilities to set up a vaccination center – with a capacity of over 1,000 daily doses – in support of the Covid vaccination program. The Company, in collaboration with the Covid Crisis Unit of Regione Lazio and ASL Roma 1, in a short time was able to set up a vaccination center in the company car park, in Via delle Cave Ardeatine 36. The center has 26 pre-vaccination clinical assessment stations, 15 vaccination stations, and over 60 seats in the post-vaccination observation area. ASL Roma 1 ensures the availability of the vaccine, trains operators, and arranges booking and scheduling, in compliance with the guidelines provided by the Crisis Unit of Regione Lazio.

The Acea hub is one of sites identified by Lazio’s Regional Health System to host the Junior Open Days accessible to 12-16-year-olds, in compliance with the participation methods published on the website.
