This year too, the Acea Group is renewing its support for La Girandola, the traditional fireworks show staged in Rome on the evening of 29 June to celebrate the festival of the city’s patron saints, St Peter and St Paul. The event, now in its 13th edition, is conceived by artistic director Giuseppe Passeri and staged by the IX Invicta & Co. Group.

The firework display, which will last approximately 25 minutes, will be clearly visible from the Pincio Terrace and from Piazza del Popolo, both already buzzing from sunset onwards with a bill of events that also includes a performance of the Fanfare by the Carabinieri Armed Service.

By supporting La Girandola, the Company confirms its deep connection with Rome and its traditions, furthering its efforts to promote the city’s artistic and cultural heritage. Indeed, the ACEA Group has always combined its own business activities with a strong commitment to promoting the territory in which it operates. Other examples of its commitment in this direction include the permanent artistic illumination projects designed to redevelop the capital city’s monumental sites - think of the interventions on the Palatine Hill, the Pyramid of Cestius and the Capitoline Hill, for instance - and the international “Make Christmas Lights ACEA” contest launched a few weeks ago to find the best creative idea for the capital’s Christmas illuminations.
