Review the highlights of the Acea Innovation Day
Eleven start-ups and Small and Medium Enterprises accepted the "challenge" thrown down by Acea to create a dashboard to analyse company performance trends with an innovative setting using "Open Data".
Today, during the final day of the challenge held at the start-up accelerator “LUISS EnLabs” at Termini Station, the best three proposals were chosen and awarded prizes worth a total of EUR 10,000. The winners were “Pleaseup” and “INNAAS” and third came “Bizmate”.
“Acea Challenge Prize – Data Edition” is part of the project “Acea Innovation”, a series of initiatives for young startuppers with the aim of generating value added for the Acea Group by selecting innovative proposals with a high technological value.
In previous weeks, the participants had been followed closely by an Acea mentor to discuss business details and get support in outlining the work. The companies taking part were given carte blanche: from the user interface to the choice of performance indicators. A "jury" consisting of four top Acea managers assessed the projects according to how user friendly they were, how quickly they provided information and to the technology.
