Guido Mottini has been in charge of Acea’s Shared Services Center since February 2024.
He spent from March 2023 to January 2024 as Head of Strategic Planning and Internal Audit at SARAS, with responsibility for medium and long-term planning processes, budgeting operations and overseeing Group performance.
From January 2015 to February 2023 he was employed by Fincantieri SpA, where he held important managerial positions, reporting directly to top management.
Having entered the Company as Corporate Strategy & Business Development Director, from January 2016 to October 2017 he assumed the position of Business Development Director with the Group’s Systems and Components Division, particularly focusing on the start up of Fincantieri SI, a company active in the implementation of complex systems: during this period he also performed the role of Business Unit Entertainment Director with Marine Interiors, a company belonging to the Systems and Components Division.
From October 2017 to August 2018 he took on the role of Business Development Director for International Operations and Head of Business Development for Fincantieri Marine Systems North America. In September 2018 he became General Manager of Fincantieri SI, a position that he held until January 2022, during this period also covering the role of Board Chairman at various project companies. In January 2022 he was appointed as Deputy Chairman of Fincantieri Infrastructure and from May of the same year also took on the role of Chief Executive Officer in FINSO, Fincantieri Group General Contractor specialised in the field of complex civil constructions, a position he held until March 2023.
Prior to joining Fincantieri, Guido Mottini was Product Portfolio Planning and Business Intelligence Director with FPT Industrial (2012-2014), as well as Engagement Manager at The Boston Consulting Group (2005-2012).
In 2002, Guido Mottini graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano where, in 2005, he also obtained an MBA.
