As part of the Acea Group, we adhere to "M'illumino di Meno” (I illuminate less), the National Day of Energy Savings and Sustainable Lifestyles, founded in 2005 by Rai Radio2 with the Caterpillar broadcast. M'illumino di Meno is celebrated every year on February 16, to spread the culture of environmental sustainability and resource saving. The National Day for Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles was established by Parliament with Law no. 34/2022.

On the notes of "Hallelujah" by Alexandra Burke, the new artistic lighting of the Costone Martorano was inaugurated by Gesesa.
An evocative event that lit up this symbol of the city of Sant'Agata de' Goti again, enhancing its beauty and history. The new lighting system. A play of light that creates a magical and evocative atmosphere, allowing you to admire in all its beauty the historical layering of the site and the construction materials used. An intervention carried out in compliance with the historical and cultural heritage of the Costone Martorano, which makes it even more accessible and attractive to citizens and tourists.
An evocative inauguration lit up the Arch of the Sacrament of Benevento again. The notes of the Benevento Philharmonic Orchestra created a magical atmosphere, while the new artistic lighting system unveiled the details and beauty of this historic monument. The intervention enhances the site by enhancing its architectural layering and construction materials. The inauguration was a moment of great emotion, which testified to Gesesa's commitment to promoting the culture and beauty of the territory. The union of music and light gave life to a unique experience, which paid tribute to the Arch of the Sacrament and the city of Benevento.
The company is strongly focused on the maintenance and efficiency of the network, on the technological evolution of its infrastructure, also to offer an increasingly innovative service. Gesesa invests heavily in the territory with initiates and projects dedicated to the environment, people and communities.
The innovation of work systems and processes has generated a profound cultural change, entirely built on the centrality of the customer to offer new, more efficient services.
Today, thanks to new technologies, a cutting-edge organization, the continuous improvement of business processes, the use of mobile devices as an essential working tool, the Company has become a reference business model in many segments of its organization and its activities.
In Gesesa, the Water Resource Recovery Plan continued in 2023. This activity has produced a considerable decrease in lost volumes, from 10 million m3 in 2022 to 9.8 million m3 in 2023. The activity undertaken will continue throughout 2024, involving all the municipalities managed.
Overall, thanks to the activities put in charge by the Companies, in the year the volumes lost were reduced by 1.1%, reaching 433.1 Mm3 (they were 437.8 Mm3 in 2022, a consolidated figure); comparing the same figure to the value of 2020, equal to 507.5 Mm3, the reduction is 14,7%.
