The CEO Fabrizio Palermo will speak on August 23 in the panel "Energy transition: costs and competitiveness"

Acea participates in the 45th edition of the Rimini Meeting entitled "If we are not after the essence then what are we after?", organised by the Meeting Foundation for Friendship among Peoples.

The Group is present this year with a stand inside the exhibition area of the event that will take place at the Rimini Expo Centre until 25 August. An opportunity to reaffirm the importance of water for the economic and social development of the country.  Acea proposes its own idea of the future in which sustainability is the cornerstone of every business for the dissemination of a culture that aims at greater awareness and responsibility in the consumption of resources. In particular, water, which is so essential and so strategic at this time. Precisely for this reason, the Acea Industrial Plan foresees, by 2028, 4.7 billion of investments in the water sector.

In the ACEA stand, set up with LED walls, there will be thematic corners where the Group's on-site projects will be presented: from NRRP works in the water sector to the use of artificial intelligence for an increasingly smart electricity network. Institutional meetings are scheduled, including visits to the stand of various Ministers of the Republic and other personalities. On 23 August, the CEO Fabrizio Palermo will speak on the panel "Energy transition: costs and competitiveness" together with the Minister of Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin. At the centre of the debate are solutions to climate change, which represents one of the most decisive challenges of our time. This is a challenge that Acea has committed to face, also with the use of innovative technologies, in particular on the water front, considering that, for the Group, the first operator in Italy in the sector, water must in all respects be considered as an energy resource of value like the others, therefore to be protected and preserved.
